Family Welcome
Our gatherings begin with relationships. We being at 9:00 a.m. for coffee, refreshments, and casual fellowship. At 9:30 a.m. one of our families will welcome everyone and help us transition into worship with a warm, relaxed, and inviting atmosphere that calls us into the safe and sacred space of worship. Our gatherings are warm, relaxed, and intentionally unpolished. We’re not aiming to impress anyone, we’re creating space for people to exhale. From the way we dress to the way we speak, everything is meant to feel approachable and welcoming. We want you to feel less like a guest at an event and more like family around a table.
Variety of Formats
We want our worship gatherings to feel fresh, thoughtful, and alive. While each week includes key elements of Christian worship, the order and emphasis may change as we intentionally create space to experience and respond to God in different ways. On any given week the focus might be more heavy on the message, Table Time, prayer, testimonies, praise, or sharing. Our gatherings are intentionally planned each week while remaining flexible for the movement of the Spirit.
Table Time
We believe the Table is a place to commune with one another and with Christ. We sit together around tables, using simple questions that invite men, women, and children to share how the story of Jesus connects with our lives today. Everyone is invited to participate, but there is always freedom to simply listen. Communion is more than remembering the past. It is a holy moment of fellowship with one another and with the living Christ.
Praise & Prayer
We believe worship helps move the truth of the gospel from our heads to our hearts. Our praise team of men and women helps everyone learn the songs and join naturally in our vocal-only worship, while one of our men leads the congregation. We also make space for prayer, frequently gathering in smaller circles with simple prompts that invite everyone to participate.
Learning the Way
We believe Scripture is God’s living word. Each week, you will hear clear, practical teaching that works through the Bible and helps us learn the way of Jesus. Our gatherings are shaped by the gifts and participation of both women and men. In our understanding of Scripture, we believe the particular responsibility of publicly proclaiming and teaching God’s Word to the gathered church is entrusted to men. We hold this conviction with humility while deeply valuing the voice of women and the many other ways they teach, serve, and strengthen our church family.
Authenticity Over Performance
We worship with intention and excellence, but our goal is not to create a polished performance. We want to be fully present, open to the movement of the Spirit, and free to respond to the moment. Our gatherings are designed to feel less like a production and more like a family gathered to worship God together. To create an unhurried atmosphere, our worship gatherings typically last between an 1 ½ to 2 hours.
Children Are Part of the Family
We believe children are a vital part of the life and worship of the church, while also recognizing the value of creating focused spaces for both children and adults. Our kids often participate alongside us for portions of the gathering, and at other times, such as during the message, younger children are invited to a class designed especially for them. We intentionally seek a healthy balance where children know they belong in the family and have a place just for them.
More Than a Worship Service
We believe church is an embodied community, not a religious experience to consume. Rather than live-streaming or widely promoting our gatherings, we grow primarily through personal relationships and invitations. We invite people into more than attendance. We invite them into a covenant community where we show up, care for one another, and grow through relationships built on trust and accountability.
